JW Aluminum names new Chief Financial Officer

Effective November 19, 2018, Philip J. Cavatoni assumes the role of Chief Financial Officer at JW Aluminum. Cavatoni comes to JW Aluminum from SixAxis LLC, a manufacturer of advanced safety products and equipment, where he has served as Chief Financial Officer since 2016. Cavatoni succeeds Rich Caruso, who has served as JW Aluminum’s Chief Financial Officer since 2017.  Caruso will be joining of JW Aluminum’s Board of Directors. JW Aluminum to invest over $30 million in equipment upgrades for foil production

The investment includes projects to enhance existing rolling mills, annealing equipment and slitters to improve quality, reliability and throughput for the fin stock, honeycomb foil and flexible packaging markets. 

The upgrades will also further automate control systems in the company's foil producing facilities - Russellville, Arkansas; Saint Louis, Missouri and Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Representative Steve Womack visits JW Aluminum in Russellville, Arkansas

On Monday, August 20th, Representative Steve Womack (AR-3) toured JW Aluminum's Russellville facility and discussed issues including trade, tax cuts, the local work force, national debt and social security. During the site visit, Representative Womack participated in a presentation by JW Aluminum's Chief Executive Officer Lee McCarter, went on a plant tour led by Russellville's Plant Manager Mike Whitten, and met with JW Aluminum teammates to learn more about plant operations and issues concerning his constituents in the Third District of Arkansas. Click here for complete Press Release.
