(Mt. Holly, SC) April 29, 2009 — JW Aluminum announced today that Blair Stewart, Vice President of Materials has retired from the Company.

 

Blair Stewart joined JW Aluminum as Director of Raw Materials in 1995 and was promoted to Vice President in 1996. During his tenure at JW Aluminum, Blair played a vital role in developing the metals supply chain, both in the primary and scrap markets. Don Kassing, President and CEO of JW Aluminum stated, “Blair’s experience and knowledge of the metal market has been a tremendous asset for JW Aluminum for over a decade. He will be greatly missed.”

 

Prior to joining JW Aluminum, Stewart had a distinguished career at Consolidated Aluminum in the finance and trading areas of the Company.

 

JW Aluminum manufactures specialty flat-rolled aluminum products including “fin stock” used by the heating and cooling industry, light gauge converter foil for the flexible packaging industry, honeycomb foil for the aerospace industry, bare and painted sheet products for window coverings and the building and construction markets, and other foil and sheet products. JWA operates plants in Mt. Holly, South Carolina; St. Louis, Missouri; Russellville, Arkansas; Jackson, Tennessee and Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
