JW ALUMINUM NAMES LEWIS CORPORATE DIRECTOR OF SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

Charleston, SC, June 8, 2005 — JW Aluminum announced today that Alex E. Lewis has been promoted to Corporate Director of Supply Chain Management. In his new position, he will have responsibility for customer service, production control, logistics and plant security.
Mr. Lewis has more than 28 years of materials management, logistics, production control and business process re-engineering experience. He joined JW Aluminum in 2004 after spending nearly ten years with Alcoa Home Exteriors as Director of Logistics. He will report directly to Don Kassing, President & CEO of JW Aluminum.
"Alex has made a very positive impact on our organization since he joined us last year," said Mr. Kassing. "In the near term, he will focus on improving the coordination, efficiency, reliability and responsiveness of our supply chain, with the primary focus on meeting customers' needs."
JW Aluminum is the leading processor of specialty, flat-rolled aluminum products, including bare and coated fin stock, building and distributor sheet, automotive heat shields, cable wrap, litho sheet, flexible packaging and converted foil products. They operate facilities in Mt. Holly, South Carolina, Russelville, Arkansas and St. Louis, Missouri. JW Aluminum is a member of the Wellspring Capital Management family of companies.
